Project Management in the Baltic States


Following the EU commission decision on shutting down the EU external borders for 30 days and due to the Latvian government announcement on new measures designed to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus within Latvia's borders and taking into account measures implemented by other countries planned conference is canceled!

However, the journal "Project Management Development – Practice and Perspectives" ISSN 2256-0513 will be prepared and published as planned.

Therefore all submitted papers will be reviewed and published. Meanwhile, those who have not submitted yet a full paper can submit it by April 17th. In this case "publication without participation" fees will apply (

Conference is organized by the Research Institute of the Project Management of the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics, University of Latvia in cooperation with the Professional Association of Project Managers.

The aim of the conference is to discuss results of scientific research in project management issues, to establish new contacts and networking between professionals involved in project management as well as enhance the capacity of project managers. The conference programme includes opening plenary session, parallel sessions. All abstracts are reviewed by two reviewers and papers included in the conference proceedings are double blind reviewed. The conference language is English.

The working language of the conference is English. No simultaneous interpretation into other languages will be available.
